There’s place that has experienced “a 182% surge in Jew-hatred, compared to January 2025.” And, spoiler alert, it’s not Tehran, it’s New York City. That’s right, dear readers, Mayor Mamdani’s Big Apple reeks of antisemitism.

Rhetoric has Consequences

Sadly, we should not be surprised. It’s not as if the Mayor hid his hatred. This is a man who revels in his opposition to Jewish self-determination. He doesn’t think Israel should exist. And a member of his office declared that a synagogue (we assume a church too?) hosting a pro-Israel event is acting in violation of “international law.”

One might be inclined to ask how that left-wing authoritarianism is working out? Well, the numbers don’t look good.

The 182% figure cited above is not an outlier or aberration. In July alone, Jews accounted for an astounding 70% of all hate crimes in the city – despite being just 10% of the city’s population. Just a few weeks ago an identifiably Jewish man was stabbed by an assailant shouting “Allah Akhbar” in Mamdani’s New York.

So, what’s a mayor to do about such a horror? Well, he started by revoking city ordinances opposing the BDS movement and defining antisemitism. Then he appointed someone to lead his effort to combat antisemitism who could not define the term.

The Klan Would be Jealous

The party that really brought Mamdani to power, the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), is the most organized and impactful antisemitic entity the United States has seen since the Ku Klux Klan made the American south burn.

Throughout the northeast, the west coast and increasingly the upper Midwest, the DSA are becoming the Democratic Party. But we will not go gently into the good night. I

We are asked, "Who will rise up for me against the evil-doers?” (Psalm 91:4). And the answer is you. We’ve already begun engaging in efforts to ensure the American body politic is aware of the anti-Judeo-Christian bigots for whom they are casting votes. In the coming weeks we will be highlighting the DSA’s rise in Michigan and beyond and the importance of the upcoming elections to ensuring that this ripple does not become a tidal wave. Because we know what the DSA really is: commies with college degrees.
