Former U.S. Ambassador to the UN Samantha Power once wrote, “…the most important part of decision-making was not the justness of one’s intentions but the effectiveness of one’s actions.”

It’s a half-true (at best) quote from someone who advanced and supported some of President Obama’s deadliest policies and acts of indifference. Although ultimately irrelevant to all but the neo-leftist choir, Ms. Powers and this specific quote exemplify the lie that is the foreign policy establishment. The truth is that serious people ensure they are making both just and effective decisions – sacrificing one for the other is why Ms. Powers and her ilk ultimately set the table for the 10/7 Massacre, the current war with Iran, and the deaths of more than 30,000 Iranian protestors.

So, with this in mind, let’s check in with an Administration that doesn’t accept the (deadly) Powers Compromise…

“They’ll Like Us When We Win”

By choosing to be just and effective (hard but worth it), Imperialist Islam is in mass contraction for the first time in half a century. Reports claim that Qatar will stop supporting terrorists (we’ll believe it when we see it, but, admitting you have a problem is the first step); Lebanon is reconsidering its allowing Hezbollah to maintain their proverbial boot on Beirut’s throat (again, see previous disclaimer); and Iran’s last move is to try to kill their neighbors by burning their own house down and seeing who dies from smoke inhalation.  In short, things are not going well for the radical Islamists.

None of this would be fathomable were it not for the Israeli and American operations of the past several years. (Credit where its due, this includes President Trump’s elimination of Qassem Suleimani).

We’ve said since the day we were founded: in the Middle East they respect might and power. We wish it were different, that right made might in the Arab and Muslim world. Tragically, that is often not the case. We must defeat our foes before those who fear them, will fear us.

We are witnessing the steady progression of Western interests and defeat of radical Islamic power centers. In the moment, it may seem to be taking a while, but in the grand scheme of things, by showing up to the fight instead of cowering away from it, the United States and Israel are winning and, by doing so, they are ending the real “forever war:” Radical Islam vs the world.

While so many were shouting from the rooftops about various doomsday scenarios - and often cobbling together wild conspiracy theories to fill in the capacious gaps – turns out President Trump was planning, governing and winning.

Neither he nor we invented the playbook in this context – it’s been around for a while. Beating the Iranian Navy and Air Force to a pulp and then ratcheting up economic pressure through direct action (e.g. “A Good Ol’-Fashioned Naval Blockade”) is exactly what was necessary to facedown the Islamic Republic and its murderous acolytes throughout the world.

Civis Romanus Sum

Those who sit at the nexus of selfishness and foolishness argue that this was someone else’s fight or could’ve been dealt with via yet more negotiations. What they fail to mention is that their approach would require the United States and Israel (and numerous other nations) to accept burying innocent victims of the Islamic Republic’s murderous fantasies on the regular.

That’s not acceptable, just as it is not righteous, brave, nor American, to appease enemies engaged in the murder of our own people and theirs.

Put more simply, Messrs. Massie, Carlson and Bannon: you have obviously decided that America should surrender to radical Islam, for reasons unbeknownst. Regardless, the rest of us have not.

Americans and Israelis do not feel sheepish when we display our passports. We members of the Coalition of the Righteous will not cower before those who hate what America stands for, whether they be foreign or domestic.

And so long as any nation thinks they can bully, murder, demonize, and rape Americans or Israelis, that regime is our enemy and should be treated as such. If we act with that basic level of resolve and self-respect, others will accord us the same. And that is the only way that Americans will be safe wherever we go and that peace breaks out in the Middle East.

Sincerely,
